कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र नीमच - एक परिचय

कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र, नीमच भारत सरकार का एक विस्तार आधारित कृषि संस्थान है इसकी स्थापना भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद, नई दिल्ली के आदेश क्रं. एफ नं. 2-6/2000 एई-।। दिनाॅंक 23/03/2006 के द्वारा जवाहरलाल नेहरु कृषि विश्व विद्यालय, जबलपुर के अन्तर्गत हुई। दिनांक 19/08/2008 से कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र, नीमच राजमाता विजयाराजे सिन्धिया कृषि विश्व विद्यालय ,ग्वालियर के अधिकार क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत घोषित किया गया है। जो कि भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद् के निदेशक, कृषि प्रौद्योगीकी अनुप्रयोग अनुसंधान संस्थान, जोन - 9 जबलपुर (म.प्र.) से संबंद्ध है।

कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र का प्रादर्श (मेन्डेट)- कृषि तकनीकी एवं आदानों का मूल्यांकन, परिष्कृतकरण एवं प्रदर्शन करना।

कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र के पाँच प्रमुख मेन्डेट इस प्रकार है:

  1. स्थानीय परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए उपयुक्त तकनीकियों की पहचान करने के लिए कृषकों के खेत पर परीक्षण करना ।
  2. विभिन्न फसलों के बारे में उत्पादन आँकड़ों एवं फीड-बैक जानकारी संग्रहित करने के लिए अग्रिम पंक्ति प्रदर्शन आयोजित करना ।
  3. कृषि अनुसंधान में हो रहे नवीनतम विकास से अवगत कराने हेतु प्रसार कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए नियमित रुप से सेवाकालीन प्रशिक्षण आयोजित करना।
  4. कृषकों, कृषक महिलाओं एवं ग्रामीण युवाओं के लिए कृषि एवं कृषि से संबंधित विषयों में करके सीखना पर बल देते हुए प्रक्षेत्रों पर अधिकतम उत्पादन करने एवं स्व-रोजगार पैदा करने हेतु अल्प एवं दीर्घकालीन प्रशिक्षण आयोजित करना।
  5. जिले में संबद्ध कृषि क्षेत्रों के लिए ज्ञान सह संसाधन केन्द्र के रूप में कार्य करना।
